The Storm in My Heart
The Storm in My Heart is a tale about the tempered Eivind who isn't scared of anything - except love. Eivind lives aboard the boat Jernanger that is docked at the harbour in the city of Stavanger on the Norwegian Southwest coast. The boat lies low and lopsided in the water. Thirty years ago Eivind left his homestead and his teenage sweetheart behind far up in northern Norway, and he has not been back since. He was meant to go back when everything was honky-dory - only that it never happened. Then young Kris appears. He wants to travel the world but didn't get any longer than to the lifeboat of Jernanger. The two men finds one another and together they hatch a great plan.

The director Pål Jackman had his feature debut with Detector in 2000 that was a huge success both with the critics and at the box office. It has been claimed that Detector created a new wave in Norwegian film, a kind of film that was embraced by the audience. In addition to directing and acting, Jackman has enjoyed great success with his orchestra, Wunderkammer, who has released two critically acclaimed albums.
