Marcel Duchamp proposed creating a 'hospice des paresseux'. A place were lazy people could take refuge. With this in mind, Alwynne Pritchard’s “Hospice Lazy” explores the subversive powers and pleasures of laziness and inertia through music, text, movement and specially constructed machines designed in collaboration with Vigdis Haugtrø and the Trøndelag Orthopaedic Workshop.
