Norwegian and French organizations Performance Art Bergen (PAB) and Dimanche Rouge in partnership with VISP invite you to a seminar dedicated to documentation and copyrights of ephemeral arts.
Led by special guest arts lawyer Henry Lydiate, the seminar will take place on April 24th, 2015 from 10.00 till 18.30pm at Visningsrommet USF in Bergen, Norway.
The seminar is free and open to the public, primarily addressed to artists, cultural operators and law professionals in the fields of performance, theater, dance, sound, video and multimedia performance, spoken word/poetry performance, installation art, photography and video documentation.
Schedule:
10.00: presentation and open discussion with seminar participants
12.00: Lecture by arts lawyer Henry Lydiate
14.00-16.00: Working groups with seminar participants
16.00-18.30: Public discussion
Henry Lydiate is an arts lawyer, manager, and educationalist, with a life-long commitment to the arts and the support of creative arts practitioners and cultural organisations. Lydiate is the director of the London-based Henry Lydiate Partnership, Creative Arts Business Consultancy, working with clients including Henry Moore, the Tate, the Arts Council England, and Whitechapel Art Gallery.
